Use of Cookie Files

Almost all websites use so-called cookies to customize the website’s functionality to your needs. A small text file (cookie) sent by the web server hosting the website you are browsing is forwarded to your internet browser, which then saves it to the hard drive of the computer where the browser is running. Cookie files remain recorded for each page in the browsing history of the internet browser so that the website can remember your settings.

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Our website functionality – mandatory cookies for basic website functionality
  • Personalization of user experience – understanding and saving user preferences for future visits
  • Statistics and analytics – collecting comprehensive data on traffic and interactions on the site to offer a better user experience and tools in the future

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is sent, or you can choose to disable all cookies. You can do this through your web browser settings. Each browser is a little different, so check your browser’s “Help” menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.

If users disable cookies in their browser:

If you disable cookies, this will turn off some of the features that make your user experience on our sites more pleasant and tailored to you.

A detailed overview of the cookies we use and adjusting your cookie consent can be done here: Change Cookie Preferences.

In this case, no personal data is recorded.
