In the heart of the Dalmatian hinterland, surrounded by green landscapes, this unforgettable tour takes you through the rich history, cultural heritage, and natural beauty of Staševica and its surrounding villages. On this journey, we will explore old villages, fresh water springs, sacred sites, and ancient necropolises.
🚐 Departure from the center of Staševica – a short ride in a passenger van (9 km) to the old village of Grnčenik
💧 Grnčenik – a fresh water spring from the Austro-Hungarian era, a former partisan military base, and the small Church of St. John (built in 1913)
⛪ Church of St. Anthony of Padua (Pasike) – dating back to 1765, with legends about St. Anthony
🪨 Pasičina and the Church of St. George – site of the “unexplained miracle” from 1962
🍷 Winery and family farm in Staševica – tasting local specialties and wines while learning about traditional production
🗿 Stećak Necropolises – historical sites “Grebine – Crnoća” and “Kod Kule” with medieval tombstones
